TMG Translation was founded in 2009 by a team of localization and translation professionals who felt that there was a requirement in the market for an Irish owned and based professional translation organisation that was focused on providing excellence in the localization services provided while seeking to continually reduce costs.  The following is a brief profile of key members of our organisation.

Tom Guckian

Tom Guckian is a translation industry veteran with in excess of 15 years experience in senior management roles in operations, production management and global supply-chain management. With extensive experience in business process engineering in the globally traded services environment, Tom understands what it takes to create the mix of people, technology and process that will deliver quality but with a focus on lower cost.

Tom is Managing Director of TMG Translation.

Alastair Kerr

Alastair Kerr brings 20 years experience in the areas of sales, business management and strategic planning. He is highly regarded in the localization industry and in the IT industry.

Antóin Ó Slatara

Antoin O'Slatara has 12 years experience in the translation industry. He has extensive experience designing and deploying translation processes and technologies and the implementation of Quality Management Systems. Antóin is also a specialist in Irish translation having setup and managed Irish language translation organisations. In addition, to driving TMG Translation's Irish language services, Antóin's focus is the technical direction and quality definition for the company.

Account Management

TMG Translation recognises the critical role that Project Managers plays in the successful delivery of projects. All of our Account Managers have a minimum of 5 years experience in translation or localization. They have a detailed understanding of the process and understand what it takes to deliver to tight deadlines. At the initial phase of the development of your relationship with TMG Translation, you will be introduced to an Account Manager. As the primary point of contact for your projects they will work closely with you to ensure effective communications and instruction during the project lifecycles.
